In the first games of the season the girls Junior Varsity soccer team has been wearing pink arm bands. They are wearing them in support for their fellow teammate Madison Ganka ‘17 and her family. On Friday, April 18, Bronson Ganka, Madison’s dad, was taken off life support after a fall that ended in acute brain injury.

On Tuesday, April 22 the girls will have a home game against Waterloo West High School where they all will wear special pink shirts in honor of the Ganka family. The team encourages the audience to also wear pink and to come join efforts to support Ganka’s family.
