State Track Scores as of Day 1
On the second day of State Track, the Girls have 2nd place with 25 points and West in 4th with 16. The top four ranks are as follows:
1. Dowling 28
2. City High 25
3. Ankeny 20
4. West High 16
Tennis Regional Meet
Girls
Susanna Howard ’10 wins 2A regional tennis championship and advances to the state tennis meet. She beat Brittany Appel of West High 6-3 6-3.
Alice Agassandian ’11 and Elizabeth Triplett ’10 placed third in the regional doubles championship.
Boys
On Friday City High boys tennis will play Bettendorf in the Sub-State Tournament. The match begins at 9 a.m. at University of Iowa Tennis Center.
The winner will face West High or Pleasant Valley in the afternoon.
