On a crisp autumn evening the boys and girls cross country teams ran their last home meet of the 2013 season and had several top finishing runners.
The boys placed second to Dubuque Hempstead at the MVC meet scoring 53 points. Ryan Dorman ’14 finished seventh with a time of 16:18.9 and Chris Ohrt ’14 finished eighth with a time of 16:22.6 in their final high school career meets at the Bud Ashton Cross Country Course.
Jarrett Purdy ’15 also finished ninth with a time of 16:29.1.
The girls finished fourth with 85 points. Molly Shepherd ’15 led the Little Hawks and place 4th with a time of 14:47.6.
Both the boys and the girls will compete at the district meet next week in order to qualify for the state meet.
