On Thursday, November18th, Harry Potter fanatics gathered hours before the release of The Deathly Hallows Part one. In a line that stretched across the Sycamore mall, the fans anxiously awaited to see the end of the series that has captured their hearts.

Sporting a Gryffindor scarf and carrying a stuffed Hedwig, Mary Kelly ’14 explained what this series meant to her.

“I’m kind of sad it’s almost over, but this is exciting,” she said.

Even though all four midnight showings were sold out, many viewing opportunities still exist.  At Sycamore mall, showings are almost every hour this weekend.
