“We need to put a complete game together, and getting over the hump of playing with good teams for just part of the game is necessary,” Andrew McNulty 11’ said.
McNulty could be the catalyst the Little Hawks have been looking for, after missing early action with an injured hand. Averaging 11.2 points per game, the senior’s been one of the few consistent pieces of the squad.
Looking ahead to sub-state games, the obvious areas of concern will need to be addressed and corrected.
“Well, we’ve been working hard and don’t have much to show for it, so to get a W, I’d say that would be a goal of our’s before sub-state starts,” McNulty said.
“Closing out games has been a problem, so for us to do anything in the playoffs, that will need to be fixed.”
Further motivation for getting that elusive first win is a recent bribe. Principal John Bacon has agreed to shave his head when the Little Hawks are victorious.
