Recently, a lot of students have been wondering why Hotline Bling has been replaced by static whenever they turn on the radio.

“I was really confused,” Abby Whittaker ’16 said. “I turned on the radio, and it was just white noise.”

During the storm that struck on November 20, the antenna on top of the radio tower that projects the FM station 99.7 was struck by lightning. The storm caused substantial damage, and will not be replaced until mid December. Until then, the station is still available on their website or with the Radio Pup app, available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
