The First Presbyterian Church of Iowa City will host their 29th annual cookie walk and bazaar. Each family of the church will bring six dozen Christmas cookies for the cookie walk. Pricing of cookies is as follows: One dozen for $4.50, a half dozen gourmet cookies for $5.00, or five dozen for $20. The bazaar will consist of needlework, plants, jams, jellies, novelties, decorations, nearly new games, Christmas decorations, crafts, and complete puzzles.

The cookie walk and bazaar will take place on Saturday December 12 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 2701 Rochester Ave. All proceeds will go toward their mission project “Kids Against Hunger”, a nonprofit food relief organization that works to lower the number of starving children worldwide. Over the past 29 years, this event has raised more than $63,000.
