Another strength is Jasper Washington at quarterback who can run and throw the ball very well.

On defense the Little Hawks strengths include their defensive line with Amos Lavela, Nile Banks and Cortez Barfield,  their malicious linebackers, and their cornerbacks with returning 1st team All Stater Jeremy Johnson and Jasper Washington Strengths.

This year in the preseason prep football poll there are five MVC teams in the top 10, which means the second ranked  Little Hawks will have many big games.  One of the biggest will be with West for the Battle of the Boot.  West is currently ranked ninth in the state and will play City on September 9th. Other big game this season for City High will be Xavier September 16th.
