Ashley Joens Up for KCRG Athlete of the Week

City High varsity basketball player Ashley Joens ‘18 has been nominated by KCRG for Eastern Iowa’s Athlete of the week. This season, Joens has been averaging 18.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, and in the Little Hawks’ last game, a thriller against West High, she scored 18 points and hit key free throws in overtime.
