The Iowa City School District has decided to let out all schools early due to the high heat and humidity forecast. City High afternoon periods will be shortened, with the school letting out at 2:00 p.m.

5th period: 12:41-1:04

6th period: 1:09-1:32

7th period: 1:37-2:00

All elementary and junior high after school programs have been canceled, whereas high school are site based decisions. The XC meet at Seminole Valley will not be attended by City High, however practice will still take place.
