On the morning of Friday, October 20, Chip Hardesty’s crackly intercom voice rent the third-period air to announce a scandal.

A car was parked in a space that had been reserved for the governor’s car earlier, taking it up without an inch to spare for the governor’s needs later in the day. Upon being notified about this act of disregard for the governor, the administration knew it had to act quickly.

However, the issue was soon resolved. When asked about the current situation at the beginning of sixth period, Hardesty gave an “Okay” sign using his thumb and forefinger and nodded vigorously.
