Students met in the Little Theater to audition for City High’s traditional Combined Efforts show.
“Combined efforts is amazing.” Katherine Smith ’11 said. Smith’s first show was A Christmas Carol. “People really loved my character.” Smith said. “Also, you make a lot of friends, too.”
The Combined Efforts show is produced by a combination of special education students and other actors, mimes, singers and dancers.
This year’s show is Vaudville Dreams, written by Janet Schlapkohl. According to Schlapkohl, the setting is “real life and real things happening at school.”
Students are excited for this year’s show.
“I think it [Combined Efforts] is super fun.” Sarah Hichwa ’13 said. “You get to hang out with people you might not normally, and you get to see talents you might not see.”
