The Annual Best Buddies Thanksgiving party was hosted on November 21, from 6-8 pm in the City High Cafeteria. The event was a potluck. Underclassmen brought side dishes, juniors brought a dessert, and seniors brought beverages.

Along with the Thanksgiving dinner, the annual square dance event was hosted by Young Life.

“City High Best Buddies hopes that West High, Solon, and UI Best Buddies clubs will join the event as well,” said Laura Schwab, Best Buddies Sponsor.

Each year Best Buddies donates money to an organization. This year it is the Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP) a community-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and improving the lives of families who live with the everyday barriers of poverty.
