Students might have noticed tables draped with bright blue tie-dye shirts set up in the cafeteria during lunch and the main foyer after school. These student-manned kiosks are raising money to provide clean water for those in need in Swaziland, Africa.

The profits from the City High Thirst Project go towards building water wells. $25 pays for one person to have clean water for the rest of their life. As each T-shirt is $15, the Thirst Project members are determined that their hard work will pay off greatly.

“This is important to me,” Avery Wilson ’20, an advent Thirst Project advocate, said, “because taking a drink from a water fountain is something that we take for granted every day.”

Thirst Project tees can still be purchased in the main foyer and cafeteria.
