City High’s Drama Board will be putting on a student production of “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” over the summer. Auditions will be held for the cast on Tuesday, April 30 in the choir room right after school. Talk of putting on the musical at City has existed since City’s Thespian Honors Society saw the show at the state Thespian Festival in November. Audition sign-ups are on the drama board outside of Opstad. The production will be completely student run and funded. The drama board is fundraising in order to have enough money to put on the production. Rehearsals will be starting as soon as possible to have the production finished by early July.
