Little Hawk girls stay on undefeated track

Tuesday, March 27, the Little Hawk Girls’ Track Team added another win to their undefeated record at the Sherwood Relays. Varsity won with 159 points with Davenport Central’s second place with 83 points.

Highlights for the Little Hawks included Aliyah Gustafson’s ‘13 throw of 106’ 10.5” in the discus and 39’ 9” in shot-put to win both events. Sarah Plock ‘15 won the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:05.88. Meg Richardson won the 1500 in a time of 5:01.94.
City High’s Junior Varsity also won with a score of 168 points.
Varsity will compete next Thursday at the North Scott invitational.
