On Monday, the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released the Class 5A girls basketball regional substate pairings. The No. 5 Little Hawks were placed in Region 4, along with 5 other teams, and received a first round bye.
Here are the teams in Region 4, their current record, and which conference they are from.

Iowa City City High 14-2 MVC
Iowa City West High 11-3 MVC
Bettendorf 7-8 MAC
Davenport Central 2-12 MAC
Clinton 3-11 MAC
The Little Hawks will host Clinton in the second round of region 4 on Saturday, February 16 at 7 pm. The winner of City-Clinton will head on to the substate finals the following Tuesday at Cedar Rapids Prairie at 7 pm.
