This year’s winner for the Iowa High School Press Association (IHSPA) Web Contest was Iowa City High School’s TheLittleHawk.com, which launched earlier this year.
“Quite frankly, I think from the moment you guys put that up it’s been very impressive,” said assistant principal Terry Coleman. “It’s the best journalism Web site in the state by far.”
The Little Hawk’s Web site went head-to-head against six other schools, and came out on top. Second place went to Cedar Rapids Kennedy High’s KennedyTorch.org, and third to Pella High’s Pelladium.com.
