Spring break approaches, and those of us who are staying in Iowa City need something to do. But first, allow me to introduce and highly recommend one of my favorite artists alive; George Watsky.
LOOKING AHEAD…
GEORGE WATSKY
Saturday, April 13th 6:00
Genres: Hip-hop
Tix: Watsky $10
George Watsky has a special place in my heart. He first gained fame from his video “Pale Kid Raps Fast” (see below), which he later changed to “Watsky Raps Fast.”
Remember… “Watsky Raps Fast”:

Watsky raps smart, rational, relatable, and hella fast. Instead of rhyming about copious amounts of girls or drugs, he chooses topics closer to home; like love, working hard, and pursuing dreams as well as throwing some disses in there. Watsky’s new Album Cardboard Castles, released March 12th, quickly rose to the #1 iTunes spot for Hip-Hop albums and #9 overall.
