African Pride

In celebration of the Motherland.

Africa is a large and diverse continent made up of 54 recognized countries, each having a large variety of rich cultural, tribal, and deeply historic traditions. The Little Hawk asked some of the Africans of City High to talk about their connections to the Motherland and how they think clothes can reflect culture. They did this while wearing Dashikis from the Gambia, Kaftans from Morocco, Abayas from Sudan, and everything in between. This series will be updated periodically.
