City gave West a run for their money last night in a battle for a trip to state.

The Little Hawks held the Trojans to just a three point lead heading into the second quarter. By halftime West had only stretched the lead to 10 points, which was the closest halftime score between the two teams this season.

Senior guard LaDarius Taylor led City with 17 points, but accumulated 4 fouls shortly after the start of the 3rd quarter and spent the majority of the rest of the game on the bench.

The final score of the game was 74-50, with City falling to West in the end. This was the closest City, West battle of the three games this season. City finished the season with a 11-12 record.
