On November 1st the varsity girls cross country team ran in the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge. They placed 10th in the state. Individual rankings were Mary Arch at 15th, Molly Shepherd at 27th, Maddy Deninger at 45th, Bridget Brown at 64th, Emily Bywater at 72nd, Hazel Crew at 84th, and Celeste Chadwick at 85th.

” The race had a different feeling from any other race I’ve done,” Maddy Deninger ’17 said. ” I just wanted to do my best for the team.”
