A recent update to the popular social media app Snapchat has changed the way teens around the world can use the app.

Users now have the ability to send and view a sent photo for as long as they want, whereas in the past it could only range from 1 to 10 seconds, unless screenshot.

“That’s great. I think it’s really cool,” Landon Clay ‘20 said. “It’s a lot easier for people who are slower to fully grasp the context of an image.”

Included in the new update is also a ‘magic eraser’ tool. If a picture has something in the background that doesn’t fit to the senders liking, this new tool can help easily remove it.

This is, by far, one of the biggest updates in Snapchat history.
