After two sub-state wins the Little Hawks men’s soccer team is moving on to state for the sixth year in a row. The dominant team now sits at 12-3 with high expectations for the state tournament.

In two sub-state performances, The Little Hawks netted 11 goals. The team beat both Dubuque Epworth and Pleasent Valley 10-1 and 1-0 respectively. The two sub-state games were an encouraging to the team.

“I was really happy with how all of us played, even us underclassmen.” Adam Engelbrecht ‘20 said.

City High will play in their first in the state tournament against Ames.
