On Saturday April 28th Students Against School Shootings (SASS) is holding a benefit concert. It will be at Hillel (122 E. Market St.) and the doors open at seven.

“A lot of the inspiration for this concert came from what students at Parkland High School are doing with their own benefit concert,” said Maya Durham ‘19

The money profited will go to gun control research, SASS merchandise, and related topics.

“Benefit concerts tend to work well so we thought it would be a good way to boost morale and raise money for a really important cause,” said Durham

SASS is planning on having several local bands perform there

“The bands are going to be very talented and we hope they can draw big crowds,” said Durham.

According to Durham attending the concert would not only be a good chance to support SASS but a fun event too.

“You will get to hang out with your peers, listen to good music, and have a fun time,” said Durham.
