Lizzie Ayers ’20 is a City High AP Capstone student who studied what would happen if there were compost bins in the City High lunchroom.

Ayers completed a week of research which included sorting and weighing trash. The second week she put out compost bins in the lunchrooms then compared the amount of compost put into those bins.
