City Falls to Burlington in Season Opener

To start off the season, the Little Hawk boys basketball team falls to Burlington 73-67. Marquiche Lewis Jr led scoring with 34 points for Burlington along with JJ Martin who had 26 points to secure the win over the Little Hawks.
In the sophmore game the Little Hawks were defeated 51-50 in a second half comeback by Burlington.
The teams travel to Muscatine this saturday for there second game of the season.
