The City High track and field team knew there was only one way to qualify for state.  They needed to finish in the top two in an event at districts or finish in the top 16 in the state for the event.

At the end of the North Scott district track meet the City High boys track team ended up qualifying for 15 out of 19 events and getting first place in 8 out of those 15.  The team earned 194 points to win the meet.
