After a 9-19 season, the Little Hawk women’s volleyball team fell short to the Indianola Indians in a hard-fought battle, losing 3-1 on Thursday, October 23. The girls made the two-hour-long road trip to Indianola to face the 11th-ranked team in the regional semifinals for regional number five.
Junior middle hitter Hattie Galloway thought it was reflective of their season and how they fought till the end.
“We never stopped pushing throughout our season. We had some ups and downs in the game and this year, but we never gave up,” Hattie Galloway said.
Galloway went on to agree that these friendships and memories are something they will have for the rest of their lives.
“One thing I will carry from this team forever is the friendships I’ve made. I felt like I grew as a person and as a leader because of the people on this team, especially the seniors,” Galloway said.
