Scoring a season high 3103 the City High guys bowlers retained the KING PIN by beating West High. The girls lost the QUEEN PIN scoring 2184 pins to West High’s 2351.
“I bowled my highest game of the series with a 254 and a 209 for a 463 total, “ Cal O’Brien said.
Cal credits team chemistry and coaching for their success. They have a record of three wins and two losses heading into the middle of their season.
“We’re all friends with each other,” Cal said. “It’s usually a loose in our team huddles. Coach Justin helps with basic stuff like your approach, how many steps we are taking and to make sure you’re walking straight towards the line. Coach works to make sure our elbows are in good form. Coach Justin is going to keep us focused and push us to be better every day.”
