Claire’s philosophy is to always be the good in someone’s day. You never know what someone could be going through, so always be nice to everyone. Whenever Claire sees someone having a hard day, she always tries to find a way to compliment them or ask if they’re okay and let them know that she is there for them.
When Claire was in preschool, she snuck her mom’s kitchen scissors and cut her own hair, and some boys made fun of her at recess. But when her older sister stood up for her, Claire realized how much one kind action can change someone’s day, which shaped her philosophy of always choosing to be the good in someone’s day.
Claire’s favorite moment this summer was when she went dune buggying in Michigan. It was such an exciting adventure. Her dune buggy would not make it up one of the dunes so they had to reverse down the dune, it was scary but fun.
