Run for Relief 2015

The City High girls’ cross country team will be hosting their annual 5k charity run, Run for Relief, on Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 A.M. The 2015 cause is the Domestic Violence Intervention Program, which provides support and shelter to victims of domestic violence. The run will begin in lower City Park. Medals will be given to the first two finishers of each age group: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60. Walkers are welcome to participate in the run. To register in advance, fill out the form provided online and email it to [email protected]. The morning of the run, report to the registration table to receive a t-shirt and race packet. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. Participants who did not register in advance must report to the registration table at 8:00 A.M. sharp. The cost to participate is $20, $15 without a t-shirt. Checks made out to City High girls’ cross country fundraising are also acceptable. All proceeds go to the DVIP. For more information check out their page.
