2016’s Homecoming Dance broke the attendance record at approximately 1025 tickets from approximately 800.

“We think the theme of “Night of the Swamp” might have attracted people… we’re not sure why,” said Student Body President Lucy Wagner ‘17.

Excitement for this year’s Snowball dance is already growing. Student Senate has chosen the theme “Yule Ball” which is inspired by the fourth book in the Harry Potter series.

“It’s going to incredible, I’m really excited,” said Wagner. “In the movie it was beautiful, so I’m hoping we can capture at least some of those beautiful nuances to our own dance.”

The tentative date for the dance is set for Saturday, December 10. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to building homes for those in need.
