The Student Senate agenda on Wednesday, October 3 listed the first item on the agenda as a recap of events, but before the Senate began, faculty adviser Steve Tygrett gave a few words.

“Before Lottie [Gidal ’19] and Naomi [Meurice ’19] take over, I just want to say thank you,” faculty adviser Steve Tygrett said. “The number of people there was the highest it has ever been. The student body is never going to know all the work you put into it…but it’s about feeling fulfilled with the work you do.”

The Senate broke into committees to discuss the success of the four events of homecoming week: the parade, the Powderpuff game, the court, and the dance, and returned to take the annual group photo.

The Student Senate meets every Wednesday at 8:15 in room 3311. To learn more, speak to Steve Tygrett, the primary faculty adviser, or attend meetings, which are open to all students.
