As students once again fill the halls, the City High Drama Department begins auditions for its opening production of the 2021 school year. This year’s fall play, “Noises Off,” will be a lively comedy and a play within a play.

Troy Peters, a director of the performance, commented on the show.

“”Noises Off” is going to be a very fast paced play. It’s going to take a lot of physical comedy,” Peters said.

Auditions for “Noises Off” will be held September 8 and 9 after school in room #2106.

Those interested in auditioning may report to the ensemble room after school on August 31 for an audition interest meeting. Students will hear more details about the upcoming production, including signing up for an audition slot and receiving audition materials.

“Today, we want to let people know what the audition experience will be like. I’ve got some scripts to hand out that people can look at,” Peters said.

For those interested in tech crew, there will be a tech interest meeting at 4:10 on September 14.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” Peters said.
