Racking up 158 points IHSPA’s annual spring contest, the Little Hawk staff have qualified as 2018 News Team of the Year finalist.

“It’s so exciting to see our work recognized like this,” said Opinion and Copy Editor Mira Bohannan Kumar ’20. “It gives real legitimacy to both our writing and our journalism program as a whole.”

In total, The Little Hawk staff was presented with 35 awards in design, online, photo, video, and writing.
