The November print issue will be the second time the Little Hawk has used Aurasma. Aurasma is an “augmented reality platform” app. In other words, it scans pictures to bring short videos to users’ screens. Through pattern recognition, the app recognizes the photo and pulls up a video that corresponds with that photo. Think of it as a modern version of the Daily Prophet’s moving photos in Harry Potter.
