Advisory will be now be on Fridays as well. This will be implemented this week. Shanice Johnson ’17 supported this change.

“Advisory in general is great because I get some of my homework done and I don’t have to do as much at home. I’m really glad that they added Friday advisory because Friday was more needed, in my opinion, because we tend to get homework on Friday as well.”

Little Hawk Advisory is created by shaving off four minutes every period, except fourth, and that chunk of time is added after fifth period. It can be used to go and talk to other teachers if help is needed or stay in fifth hour and have it function as a study hall. It was introduced at the end of the 2014-2015 school year and implemented at the beginning of this year. Liam Williams ’18 also supports an additional advisory on Fridays.

“I think advisory is good because it gives me time to do homework and meet teachers and now I have one more day to do that,” said Williams.
