Star Wars: The Last Jedi (What Are Porgs?)
It was announced a few months ago that the newest Star Wars film would be incorporating a new type of creature called The Porgs.
According to Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki, Porgs are defined as “A seabird species native to the planet Ahch-To, where Jedi Master Luke Skywalker made his exile in the years following the Battle of Endor”.
With the arrival of the newest Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer yesterday, fans were in for a real treat when they would finally get to see what these so-called “Porgs” are.
Fans immediately fell in love with this cute little bird-hamster like creatures.
Pablo Hidalgo, a creative executive for LucasFilms, described them by saying “Porgs are cute. You fall into those deep, soulful eyes. I think a lot of people are going to want a Porg as a pet”.
Hopefully as Star Wars: The Last Jedi approaches, the hype for The Porgs will grow even higher.
