The Seventy-Sixth Annual Hunger Games

The+Seventy-Sixth+Annual+Hunger+Games

For all the Hunger Games fans out there, today is a good day! Or sad, depending on how you look at it.

The trailer for the last part of the Mockingjay movie came out two days ago and lets just say, it is very dark. The series its self has always had a darker theme but this part of the movie seems to bring almost a horror game type feel. Think Outlast and Until Dawn combined into one horrifying experience. If you haven’t played those games, think of a more intense version of Courage The Cowardly Dog.

The first movie in the trilogy was directed by Gary Ross- and to be honest, it was disappointing. But since then Francis Lawrence has picked up the mantle it has gotten millions of times better. He has yet to be a disappointment, so lets hope that he continues this. (Remember, the fandom is watching you Francis.)

As someone who is a huge fan of the books, the accuracy of it is important- especially the last one. If you have read them, you know EXACTLY what traumatic experience I am talking about… hint hint.

The movie is set to be released on November 20th of this year, so keep your eyes out for a movie review!
