Des Moines Botanical Garden

The Des Moines Botanical Garden sits in the middle of the Des Moines Downtown area, far from a friendly climate for tropical flowers and plants. However, with a controlled climate of 89 degrees and 39% humidity, the gardens don’t feel much like Des Moines at all. With hundreds of species in bloom at any given time, the sun lit dome feels more like its own tiny island paradise.
