City Circle Acting Company’s latest production of the 2018-19 season, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, premiered this weekend at the Coralville Center for Performing Arts.  The huge cast has been rehearsing for three months, composed of adults, college students, high schoolers, and younger students from across the Iowa City/Coralville area.

The show is lead by Katey Halverson ’20 of Liberty High as Belle, Brandon Burkhardt, a recent West High graduate, as Beast, and Ian Zahren, local theater mentor and teacher, as Gaston. The show runs December 7-9 and 14-16. Tickets can still be purchased online or in the box office.
