The Iowa City Community School District emailed and released that there will not be school or extracurricular activities on Thursday and Friday, December 22nd and 23rd because of extreme winter weather conditions. 

“We have been closely monitoring the inclement weather predicted for later this week. At this time, due to the anticipated snow, cold temperatures, and blizzard-like conditions, Iowa City Schools will be canceled,” Superintendent Matt Degner.
