Fresh off a 38-26 victory at home versus Waterloo East, The Little Hawks are taking on the Jefferson J-Hawks in their week four game. The J-Hawks pose an interesting matchup: with a win against Dubuque Hempstead, they just snapped a losing streak dating back to 2008, losing 24 games in a row. Jefferson has a pretty good quarterback in Layne Sullivan, who has rushed for 2 touchdowns and is a leader of the J-Hawks defense.
The Little Hawks are almost in full health this week, but some injuries remain: Tony Perry ‘13 is out with a neck injury and Bryson Runge ‘15 and Eddie Marcelino ‘13 will be on the sidelines with concussions.
The game is at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids and the theme is blackout. Drive up with your friends and cheer on your Little Hawks!
