After considering opening the school temporarily with only selective grades included, the school board building committee decided to open it as a full high school (with all four grades) in 2017. The building and extra curricular activities will cost an additional million dollars, but Steven Murley, Superintendent, believes that it will save money later on.

Although they haven’t come up with the districting for Liberty High School, the committee decided to give the option to incoming seniors of 2017 to stay at their present school.
