On Friday February 24th, 2012, City High’s Jazz Band I and Jazz Ensemble departed for Coe College in Cedar Rapids and then Chicago, Illinois. Both bands performed at Coe College and at the Rolling Meadows Jazz Summit. Jazz Ensemble recieved first place in division 2A and performed at the finals in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The groups also explored downtown Chicago and dined at a jazz club in downtown Chiago. Below is a slideshow of photographs from their experience.
