On Monday, January 28th, 3 seniors and over 120 juniors lined up at Opstad Auditorium to be inducted into the National Honors Society.
The ceremony began with a performance of Mozart by the City High Quartet (Juju Wang ‘13, Sophia Opitz ‘13, Boris Perkhounkov, and Holiday Bender ‘14) and was promptly followed by motivational speeches from four previous NHS recipients, City High guidance counselor Linda Hoel, City High principal John Bacon, and Superintendent Stephen F. Murley.
“I feel honored to be inducted,” Dillon Schultz ‘14 said.
