Whether you have a player on bye week, have someone out with an injury, or are just looking for a more productive player, finding a player off of the waiver wire can fill your needs.

If you’re looking for a quarterback to fill in this week, Derek Carr should be able to post a decent score. Carr has quietly put up good numbers the last two weeks and with a weapon like
Amari Cooper going up against the Bears defense he should have a good week.

If the flex or wide receiver position is an area of need this week, and Packers WR James Jones is still available in your league, he is worth checking out. Jones hasn’t been racking up huge amounts of receiving yards yet, but he has proven himself as a red zone target for Aaron Rodgers, catching at least one touchdown in the first three games. This should translate into solid scoring as either a second wide receiver or flex position.

Finally, at running back Charles Sims is a capable player to fill in for the week. He is coming off an 11 point fantasy performance and is going up against the defense of the Panthers who are without their leading tackler, Luke Kuechly. He should prove a worthy addition if you are desperate for a flex fill-in.
